One of our favorite lab moments this year was an informal lunch that turned into a small celebration. We’re grateful to our postdoc, Mukesh, for bringing authentic homemade Indian food and sharing the story behind each dish. The aromas filled the room, the table quickly became the center of the lab, and the conversation drifted from research to travel, family, and the little details that make a group feel like a community.
Everyone who joined us—Yuri, Mukesh, Itay, Kirill, and Kirill’s son, Jacob—enjoyed the delicious food and warm atmosphere. It was one of those simple afternoons that reminds us that a strong research group is built on people, kindness, collaboration, and shared moments.
